In connection with the collaboration on the development, leasing, and re-implementation of properties during normal operations, it has proven appropriate to manage the property—and, in particular, tenant communications—in a unified and commercial manner.
For select clients and projects, we provide commercial asset management services. This is most often in connection with more complex development projects or for properties where there is a specific need for increased focus on restoring the property’s operations.
As an active asset manager, we take responsibility and ownership for developing and implementing the property’s strategy. We drive this development in close collaboration with the property’s other advisors, such as property managers and facility managers. Our responsibilities typically cover a broad range of tasks associated with active property ownership, including, among other things, optimizing operating expenses, retaining tenants, and maximizing revenue streams through, for example, lease renegotiations and new leases. We coordinate everything from the division of condominium units, subdivisions, planning processes, the preparation of maintenance plans, the implementation of green initiatives, and more. In addition, we take a structured approach to customer satisfaction and tenant retention strategies for the property’s tenants.
Close collaboration between commercial and technical expertise is crucial to successful real estate development. To ensure a holistic approach to our development and asset management projects, we have strong in-house expertise in construction management, contract negotiation, and design management.
